General

No. Tours at Hampton Apartments are free.

Appointments are not required. However, due to the time necessary to complete a tour, we suggest that you do schedule your visit so we have as much time as you need to visit our beautiful property. If you are able to schedule an appointment ahead of time, we make it easy for you to do so, either by calling the office or going through our website.

We strive to be accessible to all of our residents and future residents to assist with all of their needs. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Our application process is easy and user-friendly. You can find our application on our website at www.hamptonapartmentsclearwater.com. From there you will be able to select the floorplan you like to apply for, and the specific unit. Hard copy applications are also available at the community.

Our typical turnaround time for applications is 2 - 3 business days.

Up-front costs can vary based on the floorplan you are moving into, when you are moving in, and whether or not you were approved with an additional deposit. Some costs always remain the same, our application fee is $75.00 per adult, and the base deposit is $262.50 for a one bedroom, $350.00 for a two bedroom. We also have pet deposit and fees equal to $400.00 (if you have a pet). Rent will be pro-rated for the day that you move in, as will washer and dryer rental, and pet rent (if applicable).

Hampton Apartments offers convenient online rent payments options. We can help you set it up.

You may use credit cards, debit cards, or your bank account. The information is saved to your resident portal, saving time when you log-in to pay each month. You may also set-up Autopay, so the money may be automatically deducted on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd of the month (your choice!).

Yes, we do require all residents to have renter's insurance for losses to their personal property or injury. Additionally, we require residents to purchase personal liability insurance, with a minimum coverage of $50,0000, as well.

Your rent includes water, sewer, trash and pest control. All other utilities (electricity, cable, and internet), related deposits, and any charges, fees, or services on such utilities would be the responsibility of the resident.

Setting up your utilities is easy, we will do it for you. Your water and cable will appear as a separate charge along with your rent. Your electric is billed through Think Utilities.

The internet provider at Hampton Apartments is Spectrum Cable.

Hampton Apartments offer a $1,000.00 Resident Referral Bonus. In order to qualify, potential applicants must name the current resident who referred them, as well as their apartment number, upon their first meeting with the leasing agent. Referral bonus are only paid after the referred person has applied, qualified, and moves into an apartment.

Hampton Apartments allow guests for three (3) days. Residents are responsible for ensuring their guests abide by the community rules and regulations. Guest may not be left unattended in amenity areas.

Short term subleasing is prohibited. This includes overnight use or duration of any length and applies to overnight stays or any other stays arranged on Airbnb.com, VRBO, Craigslist, Couchsurfing, HomeAway, or any other advertising website, internet listing service, or other similar internet sights.

Upon signing your lease, you are given two options should you need to terminate your lease early. Option one is to pay liquidated damages or early termination fee equal to two (2) months rent. Option two is that you do not agree to pay the liquidated damages or early termination fee, and continue to pay rent until the apartment is released and occupied again or until your lease ends.

Unfortunately, at this time, Hampton Apartments does not offer lease terms shorter than 12 months.

Amenities

For our residents, Hampton Apartments offers a year-round, heated pool, movie theater, craft room, wood-working shop, billiard room, hearing aid clinic, home health care clinic, hair salon and a dining room. Along with 8 single and multi-purpose activity rooms. Check out our amenities here!

We allow one (1) vehicle per driving occupant. Parking is first come first serve and we do not charge parking fees for uncovered spaces. Numbered, covered spaces are available for assignment for an additional charge. Guest parking is also first come first serve.

Laundry rooms are on all apartment floors.

All floorplans come with a refrigerator, stove and a dishwasher.

No, unfortunately at this time we do not offer furnished apartments.

Hampton Apartments does not accept packages in the leasing office. Packages are delivered to the resident doors, or their mailbox/parcel locker on property.

The fitness center is open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Hampton Apartment's fitness center offers a variety of exercise equipment from treadmills to ellipticals, stationary bikes, stair climbers, and free weights.

Yes! We have many activities! There are scheduled activities each week from water aerobics/walking tours, movie showings, holiday events, picnics, happy hours and much more! We also have an on-sight bus that offers scheduled off-site trips to entertainment venues and places of interest, such as The Hard Rock, restaurants, parks and shopping centers.

Pet Policy

Hampton Apartments is a pet-friendly community! We love our residents and their furry friends. We allow two animals per apartment with breed restrictions and a 30lbs combined weight limit.

Hampton Apartments has a $200.00 non-refundable pet fee, and a $200.00 refundable pet deposit. These are one-time fees and are not charged per pet. The monthly pet rent is $15.00.

Hampton Apartments is a pet-friendly community. No more than two (2) animals with a combined weight of seventy-five (30) pounds or less when fully grown are permitted per apartment. Animals must be at least six (6) months of age. Aggressive breeds are not permitted. Restricted breeds include but are not limited to: Pit Bull, German Shepherd, Malamute, ChowChow, Rottweiler, Husky, Doberman, St. Bernard, Akita, Great Dane, Terriers (Staffordshire), American Bull Dog or any hybrid or mixed breed of the aforementioned breeds.

Hampton Apartments has an onsite pet walk on the North side of the building.

The nearest cross streets are McMullen Booth Rd between Drew St. and Rt. 590.

Hampton Apartments is conveniently located on the PSTA bus route, with a bus stop right outside our property's entrance.

Hampton Apartments is conveniently located near the heart of Clearwater. We are within walking distance of multiple restaurants, a shopping center that includes a Publix, and within driving distance of the beautiful Clearwater Beach and Coachman Park. Check out our location here!

Hampton Apartments is a short 6-minute drive from the famous Enterprise Rd Dog Park. Several other county parks and trails are just minutes away, so you and your furry friend can adventure together without traveling too far from home.

The Del Oro and Duke Energy trails are just a few minutes away from Hampton Apartments.

Hampton Apartments is conveniently located within a short distance of everything our residents could need. With a Publix Grocery just across the street, Walmart just a quick 7-minute drive down the road, a Dollar Tree, Bealls Outlet, Home Goods and TJ Maxx all nearby, you'll never have to venture too far from home.

Hampton Apartments does offer coffee with our daily complimentary continental breakfast. However, if you would like to venture out, there are several delicious coffee shops nearby, like local favorite, Cafe Vino Tinto on Main St. in Safety Harbor, just 4 minutes away. International chains like Dunkin Donuts a quick 4-minute drive or 6-minute bike ride, or Starbucks, 2 minutes away by car, or 6 minutes by bike.

Maintenance

Your apartment will receive a full maintenance review and all necessary repairs will be made. The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned before the new resident's move in.

Our maintenance team is on-site, Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and available outside of office hours and on weekends for emergency calls 24/7.

You may call the front desk during normal business days and times. Or, non emergency work orders can be entered on our website.

All maintenance requests are handled with importance and care.

No, you are not required to be home for maintenance to perform work. We do ask that animals are secured and that there are no unaccompanied minors in the apartment when maintenance has to enter.

During business hours, a spare key can be loaned out upon proof of proper identification. After-hour lock-outs will require the assistance of a locksmith at the resident's expense. A copy of the new key must be provided to the office within 24 hours of re-keying.

Yes, you may hang decorations on the walls. Additionally, you may paint accent walls. However, you must return painted accent walls to their original color or cover them with a primer.
